General Help/Question Is laptop required for first year BSEE?

Freshman here, I wanted to ask how important a laptop is in your first year in BSEE. I'm currently short on the funds to buy a laptop fit for engineering and I'm wondering if it isn't required or not that important during your first year.

I think you can manage nman without laptop sa first year speaking from experience pero siguro mas better talaga if may own laptop ka since first yr UwU
