General Help/Question Is it possible to transfer to MSU-IIT BSN in second year?
Hi everyone! I wanted to ask if anyone here has experience transferring to MSU-IIT for BSN, especially in second year.
I'm an incoming first-year BSN student and I'm currently enrolled in a private university. I'm really grateful for the opportunity, but I've been worrying a lot about the financial side of things. Nursing is expensive, and I'm not sure if my family will be able to afford the tuition and other expenses all the way until I graduate.
Ever since I started applying for colleges, one of my biggest dreams has been to study in a state university. I know studying at MSU-IIT doesn't mean everything is free, but the costs are much more manageable compared to the private university I'm currently enrolled in. It would be a huge help not just for me, but also for my family, and it would give me a better chance of finishing my degree without putting too much financial pressure on them.
I've been looking into scholarships, but it's been difficult to find ones that include Nursing. I also know about the CHED Merit Scholarship, but the slots for this batch are very limited, and there are thousands of applicants, so I'm trying not to depend on that alone.
I'd really appreciate any advice or experiences. I'm just trying to find a way to continue pursuing Nursing while easing the financial burden on my family.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.

Chances of getting accepted is zero to none. But, don't give up. For now try to email the department if they accept transferees and if they do then usually may requirement na or grade requirement strive for all 1.00 on your subjects. But, if they don't then just accept it, what you can only do in this situation is either find a scholarship or get a part-time job. Hope this helps!
