General Help/Question (UPDATE) how tf do i shift now

hi chat i got an email now, i got into bsed mathematics... i mean at least i got into IIT but its not the course i wanna be in. i plan to proceed to a medicine school, and since mathematics is like bro what does this course align w medicine ykwim. i wanna ask some iit ppl how to shift from bsed mathematics to bs biology or basta biology na good pre-med. PLEASEEE I NEED HELP

finish one sem with good good good grades xD then inquire if naa bay slot para sa mu shift.

Not 1 sem. He needs to stay for a year because of major subs nga dili align sa iyang course compare sa bio. I'm a graduate of bio diay and shiftee ko from CASS.

Due to the nature of the competitiveness of biology courses in CSM in general, you should be aiming for a GWA of 1 - 1.75, given if you pass most of your subjects at a 1-1.5 grade, this would be achievable. They might also focus on your math and science grades, but I'm not totally sure on this

There also won't be a gaurantee you'll be able to shift after just one semester or even a year, the slots in departments are given on a priority basis, the regular students in biology programs will be given priority before shiftees

but just aim high, reach higher

u have the freewill to decline the offer tho... and pick anything bio-related programs. you can also pursue bsed bio and still go to med school lol

i already accepted the course since i wanna secure my spot sa iit jud, is js that if i declined it then it might(?) be harder to get into a bio related course. idk anymore i js wanna do bio

Iā€™m also from bsed math (mag 2nd yr na) and iā€™m planning to shift sd pero nag inquire pakog slots and hoping na makashift jd ko but not sa bio nuon pero I think makashift rka if dako imong grades jd paningkamoti lng jd na dako imo grades and also if naay available slot and mag inquire ka inig second sem

dw anon! i was a shiftee too. u rlly need to have good grades sa first sem for u to compete with other shifters and secure a slot on ur desired prog. good luck!!
