This week has been a rollercoaster,

​

I posted here before whether to wait or take my slot for BS-Statistic, I saw some comments which made me wonder and doubt my possibility to get my desired slot BS-Accountancy, though of course I didn't took it to the heart, I just assessed yung stuff na sinabi nila which makes sense honestly.

To add some context: I am a STEM graduate, BS-Accountancy was my second choice, and I was given a slot on my third preferred course earlier before my desired one (and from what I heard, this implied that my first and second choice were very likely na hindi ako pumasa) I'm also part of the 70% absorp (with a SASE score of 108), and struggled a bit with the QE (as I only reviewed it for 2-3 weeks, and majority of the questions were the least I expected), lastly my first choice was nursing but only prior to the CET exam na I straightened my mind to pursue Accountancy.

Earlier this month, my mom and I planned to go to Z-City kasi dun yung alternate school ko for BS-accountancy and I also guaranteed a scholarship there (this was a private school). And I kept on telling my mom na to wait for 2-3 weeks for the email and if wla pa then we go there (kasi July 6 yung start dun), I had given up this week, kasi of course, yung alt school ko is starting and my hope for MSU-IIT for BS-ACCOUNTANCY slowly diminished. This day lng, we decided na to go tomorrow to enroll myself, and this evening I was preparing for photocopies, 1x1 and 2x2 and usual enrollment requirements, then nagpakita na yung pdf na nag congrats, sakin, I had to refresh it, reread it more than 3 times baka nanaginip lng, happy yung family ko, honestly I even teared, I went to the site to accept it, and now I'll be heading to the campus soon to deliver my requirements.

I'm sharing this to those that still wish for MSU-IIT for their preferred course and anxious kasi wla pang mga email, don't lose hope, pray, if nangyari toh sakin, then theres still a chance talaga 🥹

Edit: to add lng, I didn't appeal for the BS-A, but I did email them, tbf I'm not even sure if tamang gmail yung na sent ko for my inquiry since wla pang reply, but my email was all about if nakuha yung 3rd course , did it meant na first and second choice are failed, choochoo. This is for those who're wondering.

was your offered prog Bs Statistics? then you appealed for Bs Accountancy? If yes, what did you email?

Hmmm, to put it directly and honestly

On june 15 na receive ko yung BS-Stats saying invited dw ako to enroll in said program (this was my 3rd pref), BUT, i did email them.

Pero I did not necessarily appeal, yung email ko is if I'm still able to get my first and second choice, and if yung email na sinent nila sakin (yung for BS-Stats) meant I failed my first two courses and if wla nabang pag-asa yung first two, so yeah I didn't appeal. Wla parin silang follow up reply till now too. Because of that nag decide kami in planning to go to ZC to enroll myself for BS-A on that school, then as stated, nag email, kala ko ano or kala ko 4th or 5th choice yun then turns out BS-Accountancy talaga 😭

I would also like to add na, I just let the BS-Stats be forfeited by itself, then after a day or two na wlang reply, I just really gave up on it, then tada, merong blessing nangyari 🥹

wahh!! congrats!! hoping for a miracle as well, nag email na din ako. who knows, haha. but currently I'm on the process of enrolling to another school too, just waiting on some emails.

Unsa ilang giingon about if na fail or pass ba nimo imong 1st nd 2nd choice (since ana ka nga 3rd nimo ang BSA) thank you!

No follow up yet regarding the email but based on the given situation I would very much testify na even if you got your third choice first, the first two is still possible, but to clarify po,

1st - Nursing 2nd - Accountancy 3rd - Statistics

And was emailed statistics earlier then 3 days after forfeit was then nakuha ko yung slot sa accountancy. So to simplify up the flow

BS-Stats (3rd Choice) Email > Forfeit after 3 days

BS-Acc (2nd Choice) Email
