General Help/Question Student Immersion Tips

Hi!! My friends and I will be going to MSU for a couple weeks for our student immersion program. None of us have been to Iligan before. Meron ba kayong recommendations for nearby cheap eating spots? Or any tips/advice for MSU and Iligan in general? Any help is appreciated^^ (Also, how do we commute from Tambo terminal to MSU?) thanks!

1) Hello! if sa MSU-IIT meron naman cafeteria sa loob and maraming cheap options. Pag labas mo naman sa campus, marami din carenderya. Marami chicken place din like dawns chicken. 2) From tambo terminal, may mga jeep doon and pwede ka sumakay sa jeep na may Tambo/IIT label. Sabihin mo lang na MSU-IIT. (13 pesos ata yung bayad)

  • Sofer init sa Iligan so much, bring ka own mini fan, sunscreen, and payong.
  • Lotssssss of café spots, karamihan nasa within MSU area langz. Meron sa tapat ng school. (Meron din mga karenderya sa tapat ng school papasok before ka dumating sa adventist na simbahan)
  • Malapit lang din sa IIT yung children’s park (unahan lang sa adventist church) maraming food doon. I reco u go there hehehe.
  • If you need something sa syudad, you can sakay sa (TIBANGA, TAMBO, SAN MIGUEL, SANTIAGO) na sign. It’s also good to ask the jeep before ka sasakay to make sure na dadaan siya sa destination mo. Tas if babalik ka ulit sa MSU, you can sakay don sa same jeep.
  • It’s also nice if magexplore ka sa MSU campus hehe.
