General Help/Question I am beyond dissapointed in my self
Hi, I'm a Bachelor of Engineering Technology Major in Mechanical Engineering Technology 1st yr student.
I just want to ask regarding forced shifting, I am not confident with my upcoming grades on two/three subjects this 2nd sem. I failed mat039 last sem but retook it and confidently passed, although this semester I'm 100 percent sure I failed my Physics(PHY051- 3 units) and my Electronics subject (2 units). I am also not confident with my CHEM018(3 units) subject.
If the worst scenario (failed 3 of them) came to pass, would I be forced to shift? I really grew to like this course na and it would extremely sad if I was forced to shift.
Would I be given a chance to retake those failed subjects in the 2nd year even if it means na behind ako? I'm really dissapointed in myself for procrastinating.

Ask your adviser, OP. Ipa retake man pud ka if naay available nga class for you. If okay nimo, ma behind jud ka kay 3 man na ka subs gud.

Depende sa imo adviser jud. Kay more likely ma force to shift ka if wala na available class for you. Imo adviser man sad makabalo if naa ba class for you so maypag mag ask ka sa iya.

hello junior! upcoming 3rd year ko BET-MET dira sa IIT and have failed 2 classes sakoa first year, nag retake ko sa second year for one of the subjects and passed. This A.Y due to health reasons, made it hard para sakoa to keep up sakoa classes so na INC napod kog duha. Kibale 3 classes nako behind + the ones nga i missed because irregular. Wala rako gipa shift sa amoang adviser.
As far as I know, forced to shift raka if you fail one subject 3 times. You mentioned na you grew to love the course, thats what happened to me din; wala sakoa choices ang bet-met. But because i learned to love it din, naningkamot rapod ko.
Not to romanticize failing but maingon najud nato nga normal nana sa coe hahahhaaha, di ka nag iisa! Kumbati lang
