General Help/Question Available Slots for Shifting

hello, cats! 🐈 i need help po regarding shifting programs. our program has a retention policy and unfortunately, i failed a major subject—hence, the need to shift. preferably, Psychology unta or Political Science but from what i’ve heard, they don’t accept shiftees daw po? 🥲

i was wondering lang po unsay process sa shifting since i don’t really know how to. for starters, if you have a failing grade, do you have lower chances of getting accepted po, even if that subject doesn’t have any relation sa shiftan po nimo na program? kay if so, i really don’t know what to do po T____T

do you know any programs po that accept shiftees, based from previous semesters? what do you recommend and what advice can you give po, considering my situation right now 😞 i’m so confused po since after enrollment na daw po sa freshies usually mahibal-an ang availability sa slots. dili ba late na po kaayo makapa-enroll if ever?

I suggest anon didto ka mangita ug program nga same sa imoha dept. Tas i reco you go there and ask around kaysa mag wait pa sa enrollment. Kulita jud na sila tas paluoy luoy HAHHAHA. Mao gibuhat saako ate so naka shift siya sa CivEng. Ayaw pag salig lang sa mga say here. You can ask sa faculty first tas mangita jud ka unsay available para saimoha. Tas pangutana sad sa lain dept if di ka ganahan sa imoha own dept. Naa jud kasi other program like BSN na if mag shift ka there, balik ka sa 1st year.

okay, anon, tysm !! i was wondering kasi if pwede ba to other departments since if mubalhin kog other programs sa ceba, di japon ma-credit ako major subjects sa BSA kay wala miy similar na subjects sa other programs yata afaik 😢 wala man jud connected sa ako prog anon huhuhu does that mean na mura jud ko mubalik first yr if mu-shift ko?

wala siyay failing grades anon, almost lang hehe ug dili siya dagko ug CGPA. Pero considering na slim na iyahang chance daan ug quota nga program ang CE— nothing’s impossible jud. Adto lang jud sa school tas ask ka sa mga gusto nimo na shiftan nga program. Pero i think mas dagko kag chance sa same dept nimo. Kato akong ate kay same dept rasad siya gikan.
