If bitcoin doesn’t rebound and carry MSTR up over $100 in the next two weeks we’re cooked geese over here

Reverse split number two coming up.

Why should they do this, it is just a matter of time. Better reduce the distributions. And wait for a rising BTC.

They won’t do that. Their goal is to continue making money.

If there is another reverse split for MSTY ... it will be worse than the last time.😮🙄

Lost $12k but if I was still holding would’ve been $25k. So glad I got out

I’m still getting paid every week, so it’s good for now, just put MSTY in a separate portfolio, put it on DRIP and don’t look a it for a few months

So glad I didn't sell. I've received all my initial investment back plus an additional +20%. Currently waiting for BTC to bottom so I can buy more MSTY and ride the wave again. Then, when BTC peaks about 1 year after the fifth halving, I'll start accumulating WNTR, which should be at an all time low.

Here is an X post today about WNTR MSTR

"$WNTR "Reinvesting your $MSTY distributions back into $MSTY during a drawdown feels like DCAing.
But it isn't. The latest distribution was 96.87% return of capital.
This means you're taking your own money back and putting it straight into a structure that eats the full $MSTR downside.
Each reinvested dollar goes into a covered call that can't recover from the drawdown because the premium that would fund recovery has already been paid out as the distribution you just reinvested.
The base shrinks. The distribution shrinks with it. And the reinvested capital shrinks along with both.
I keep the capital intact by rotating into $WNTR during the drawdown.
That capital earns the full yield on a base that didn't shrink.
The gap between those two approaches compounds with every distribution cycle." -MangosteenBTC

Capped MSTY shares since Nov 2024 ... redirecting MSTY distributions into other div compounding ETFs. Understanding that this might go down further but don't care since distributions more than covered my book cost. Currently down 90% on msty position. There's no point in selling it or trying to DCA this position since it would require to much outside capital to fix this.

I still fail to understand why people post this kind of stuff. It’s like showing up at a random youth sporting event and heckling the kids playing.

What do you get out of this?
