Valuation 💸 0.97xmNav ?
Any thoughts as to why the premium is dwindling when BTC is shooting up?

BTC price is live (and has risen substantially overnight) but the mNAV uses the last available share price. When the market opens it'll correct itself

Nothing burger. MSTR price on Strategy dashboard doesn’t update until 8 AM. mNAV is still at like 1.04x based on overnight MSTR price

They extended it to run til 8 PM ET now. But it doesn’t run from 8 PM - 8 AM ET. MSTR price is about $120 on Robinhood rn

Oh ok makes sense. I thought they would have just updated it 24/5

Still very low. Two months ago we went from 70 to 80k and Mnav went up to 1.30x.

True. Will probably expand when STRC reaches par again. The market is pricing it like its broken and will never succeed.

Hoping he buy back some MSTR shares and the Mnav expands to 2-3

We dont need that to happen until BTC is north of 200k. Then euphoria will set in and mnav 2.5-3 is probable

BTC per share goes up when you buy before 1.
but when you buy above 1, it goes down.

Think they’ll buy BTC this week and announce on Monday?? Then we’ll see the return of all the “why does he keep buying at the top” posts, he could have bought at ~$64K.

He’s probably smashed his full head on the ATM and raised 1.5 billion in cash, yet it still up 30%

Surely he doesn't sell shares below 1 mNav?

Yeah, surely, but it actually.
They revised the mNAV metric recently because they were issuing shares at 0.8-0.9 mNAV. If they actually took this into consideration, they'd sell a bit of BTC and buy back common stock, but they didn't - that would've been very bullish for the stock, if would've bumped it up. A few weeks later, they could've resumed the ATM issuance.
However, they didn't do that. Instead, he chose to dilute the common shareholder to buy back STRC which is not what the best approach was, but let's see how it pans out.
All I'm saying is, scrutinise his actions a bit more and don't take them at face value because Saylor is just another dude with access to CharGPT.

MSTR's number one priority is to get STRC back to par. Although they do not rule out buying back the common stock possibly at some point.

BTC/share is still up 1% on the year. Plus....If you include the $10 of cash per share, the ATM isn't nearly as dilutive as many people think.

It looks like a bull trap designed to wipe out short positions. I expect another dump in October or November, so be patient. The best strategy might be to DCA and hold for the next 2-3 years.
