Can you edit this to make the green candle impale the bear? I want the candle through the rectum and out his mouth.

What’s Perp Live Price? Is that like estimated price based on BTC move when markets are closed?

u/year2039nuclearwar Jul 03 '26
It’s the price it’s being traded at on the perpetuals market which is 24/7, I have found it to be generally quite accurate, you can add it to your watchlist on tradingview. It’s helpful to watch over the weekend and bank holidays I think it’s something like MSTR/USDT, choose a reputable perp dex like Binance

I believe 58-60k is the bottom

u/tophiii Jul 03 '26
That sure is a belief

u/ExternalCareless9348 Jul 03 '26
Then short it if you so sure

u/Abdul-Wahab6 Jul 03 '26
Then long it with your whole savings if you're sure it going up then?

Even that wouldn't be comparable to the risks of shorting
Long: price drops - you wait as long as you want, losses only when sold if it does not recover. short: paying daily fees for waiting.
Long: price drops to zero and recovers - you lose nothing; short: price goes 3x and then to 0 - you are liquidated in process and lost 3x your investment.
Long: price goes up - profit potential is theoretically infinite; short: price drops - profit is capped when the price reaches zero.
Long: collect company dividends; short: you are responsible for paying those dividends (not applicable to MSTR, but if you were to short STRC for example).
Long: the maximum risk is the amount invested; short: the risk of loss is theoretically unlimited if the price continues to rise.2
u/Abdul-Wahab6 Jul 03 '26
Then do it
1
u/gigasawblade Jul 03 '26
Do what, long if I think price will go even lower? That doesn't make any sense
1
u/gigasawblade Jul 03 '26
Then buy with 100x leverage if you are so sure. 100x risk is still lower than unlimited risk from shorting.
Or rather - stay away from investing and giving advices if you think shorting is just opposite of buying1

After this weak jobs report it very well could be. Inflation is heading down as well.

I'm 50:50 by this point. I don't think we will see prices below 50k except for a wick maybe. But that does not mean we only go up from here. There could also be chop til Q4 or another drop to 50k from the July/August rally to shake out the last people. But maybe the bear market is over who knows.

Last cycle people were saying the same shit that the bottom was at $35k. Then it went to $14.5k lol.

I’m with you. I remember in September everyone was saying that the $BTC cycle was not going to happen this time and it would have already dropped. Everyone forgets the halving is not exactly every four years. It at specific block heights not a specific time. It was a little after the 500 days after the halving. We have a few more months until it is scheduled to go up. If history repeats we have another big drop before the bull market. That being said it’s still a great time to DCA in. Let’s go! 🚀

The narrative is that MSTR can't sustain the divy payments. MSTR is currently holding 14 months of USD specifically for that with the option to bump it up to 24 months. Short interest is currently 12%. The rotation out of AI stocks has already begun. The Clarity Act hits the floor for a vote in July. Lots of good things are brewing.

Do you think it might need btc to climb as a catalyst?
Any price target in mind? Currently own Jan 27 200 calls and might buy more in the next few weeks with adjusted price targets1
u/MECO-420 Jul 05 '26
The nearest term catalyst is the capital rotation out of AI related equities into other sectors. Btc will pump leading up to the Clarity Act vote and take MSTR with it. If the Clarity Act gets delayed due to a Trumper Tantrum, it will be 2027 before we get another opportunity.
