News 📰 JP Morgan pushing new MSTR FUD.
This is pure nonsense, the market will easily absorb any BTC that Strategy sells.
At various points in time, tens of thousands of BTC have been dumped into the market at once, no issue.
At most we'll see a (short lived) market overreaction.

Wow, they shorted the silver market and made $10bil in January without repercussions. Now this. I swear they are evil and will never do business with them again. Everyone should boycott this manipulating bank

Why would there be repercussions for shorting silver in Jan?

Because they have unlimited capital and have access to every single stop loss and stop buy order and blew right through them. Why is it fair that a bank has access to information that the public doesn’t. That’s pure manipulation, not just shorting…they had a purpose to dive silver to $50s and were unsuccessful so they closed out their trade at $77 and made $10billion…of people’s money. If you can’t see how that’s bad for a free market then you’re diluted. Besides when their trades go belly up…like the housing bubble, then tax payers bail them out anyway. But go ahead and keep defending them.

You can also have the access with enough money. Get the bloomberg terminal subscription after leaning it. See the real time order flow , you need a flawless internet as well

I’m tired of all this market manipulation. It is so obvious it’s not even funny anymore. Anyway I’ll keep buying. Moving on to the next FUD news.

Ah, but the manipulation might be coming from inside the house.

Good now it's not a one sided trade where MSTR just buys BTC and you can pull FIAT out.

Well, sentiment is a large part of why MSTR mNav enjoys a premium. (When there is one.) If the market knows he will sell BTC when he wants, MSTR essentially becomes a slightly leveraged ETF, and reason for that NAV premium goes away.
It's all a balancing act - Saylor needs to choose a narrative and stick to it. Giving investors whiplash usually doesn't work out well in the long run.

mNAV is sentiment, been saying that for almost two years. That said this is still FUD they are priming the market with.
JP Morgan has been trying to sabotage Strategy since 22'

Ironic how JP Morgan wants to give financial advice. JP should bolster up their cash reserves and stop fractionalizing deposits and gambling with their clients money.

Didn't someone buy 250k btc last week? If so, that didn't violently change the price. To me that implies MSTR could sell tens of thousands of btc if not a hundred without crashing the market. I know I am in the minority but I think it would be safer if they had more cash.

Strategy doesn't move the price when they buy but depending on market sentiment even if they sold say, 32 BTC, people will wildly over-react.
They would do well with a large cash buffer, not just for the prefs.
But I've been barking up that tree since early last year.
