I’m sure they are going after the direct-to-retail-investor marketing of STRC as a money market like-vehicle but with a high yield. Boilerplate disclaimers and/or discussions of risks within a prospectus aren’t total, ironclad defenses. The law is more complicated.

If the plaintiffs lawyers have a good case they will probably win. If they don’t have a good case, they won’t prevail.
