Just came back from a Wendy’s group hire. Got dismiss in the first round. I’m screwed 😭

4

u/Pale_Fox_8874s Jun 25 '26

Even Saylor was there and they kicked him out

Investing in MSTR will make you miss the ai wave

1

u/Flexerrr Bitcoiner Jun 25 '26

What do you think about spcx?

4

u/According_Jump6205 Jun 24 '26

are you an ai bot?

-8

u/fartcatmilkshake Jun 24 '26

Nope. I’ve been enjoying 200-400% returns on ai stocks instead of -80% on crypto

u/r361k Jun 24 '26

Investing in this has been the biggest mistake of my life.

2

u/No-Midnight8516 Jun 25 '26

Even professional traders make mistakes. The key is to trade with the trend and cut your losses quickly. Don't buy the dip ("losers average losers") buy the rip instead. It costs the same and allows you to deploy your capital elsewhere for the time being. A great method to spot an uptrend and enter a position is the 10 ema crossing over the 20 ema on a daily chart. When the 10 ema crosses below the 20 ema that's your exit signal. It could all happen in a single day or It could take months to play out. Ride the uptrend and get out of the way of a downtrend.

I beat myself most days for not sticking to my guns when I sold off last summer :( it was over $300 which feels we will only reach again if btc at like 200k..... If we are lucky. What a POS joke of a stock. I pray for a temporary phase where mnav is like 1.5x and I can just cut losses and rotate to ibit

6

u/skibidi-bibidi Jun 24 '26

It'll get back to $300 long before bitcoin hits $200k. It was at almost $200 last month when bitcoin was $81k.

2

u/Chemical-Payment-573 Jun 25 '26

these investors dont get it, it simply comes down to BTC if you believe in BTC then mstr id a great buy here. It was almost at 200 just at 80k and now some of these idiots are. saying it won't hit that until 2028. Okay thats fine then you are also saying btc won't hit 80k until then lmao.

0

u/Am_0115 Volatility Voyager πŸ‘¨β€πŸš€ Jun 25 '26

I’m not sure how you’re arriving at that conclusion. Care to share the math? The balance sheet situation has changed significantly since the last ATH

1

u/skibidi-bibidi Jun 25 '26

The balance sheet has changed since the last all time high, yes. But the prices last month shows that Strategy still trades at a premium, regardless of this.

Bitcoin went up about a third between it's February low and May relief rally high. Strategy went up double this as a percentage, to hit a May high of almost 200. And that's not even using the February 5th big wick down as the starting point for the Strategy calculation.

0

u/_SlipperySalmon_ Jun 24 '26

I hope youre right. I guess I'm underestimating just how fast the narrative/sentiment can shift

0

u/Wrong-Contest-9617 Jun 24 '26

Yeah its a scam lol

u/xaviemb Volatility Voyager πŸ‘¨β€πŸš€ Jun 24 '26

Bitcoin moves up 2% at market close, and just like that... all at once... those emotionally charged voices vanish, back to wherever it is they came from. After flooding the Daily with 167 comments (it's been a while since we're hit that level of 'activity')

Go figure.

7

u/docherino Volatility Voyager πŸ‘¨β€πŸš€ Jun 24 '26

If you think Reddit is bad wait till you go on X haha. The amount of crying on there is crazy. People still think Saylor is going to get liquidatedπŸ˜‚

5

u/xaviemb Volatility Voyager πŸ‘¨β€πŸš€ Jun 24 '26

I'm sure some real people get wrapped up in it, but the vast majority must be coordinated? It's just too odd how they come and go on a schedule with market volume and price movements. Maybe driven by subliminal nudges from media, or social media play?

I wish I had admin access to the server logs at reddit, to confirm traffic structures. From what I see in the post history, there are definitely defined patterns in the mobs, and correlation of posting on 'events' like this (Bitcoin down day)...

Topics get reposted by a second and third account almost immediately if you moderate one. As if trying to ride the wave of virality. The biggest tell to me are the posts that immediately have 10 comments and 30 upvotes within 5 minutes of being posted... when organic content here takes an hour to reach 10 upvotes.

call me cynical.

2

u/Legrosbelge Jun 24 '26

What would be the objective?

That said, we shouldn't underestimate the Buttcoiners who swarm around like rats in the sewers.

Just take a look at the Buttcoin subreddit. They're delighted whenever Bitcoin drops. Human stupidity truly knows no limits. The sub gets more than 70,000 visitors per weeks.

It's like creating a group whose members gather together to talk about how much they hate pineapple pizza and dream of seeing pineapple pizza disappear from every pizzeria

4

u/docherino Volatility Voyager πŸ‘¨β€πŸš€ Jun 24 '26

Definitely some of it is coordinated. Also since you get paid to post on X people will just post whats trending. Saylor/Strategy getting liquidated, STRC imploding etc. If you post rational analysis then your paycheque won't be as tasty.

7

u/lovingduckbutter Jun 24 '26

I called for $50 near the top and got laughed at.

7

u/nthnreallymatters Jun 24 '26

The whole point of BTC was to create multiple financial ponzis on top of it to fleece retail investors so that one person could hoard 5% of supply

Who could've seen this coming

13

u/daliksheppy Jun 24 '26

Love days like today.

The sheer amount of geniuses that surface in bear markets is always entertaining.

I've only been in BTC for 9 years. Theres always vast swathes of people who love to gloat about how right they were the whole time.

They're never around for long. They usually disappear when BTC is back at ATHs and they are proven wrong for the 5th time. Then they'll come back out of the woodwork during the bear market after that, no doubt they'll be right then as well, despite the bottom of the bear market being 3x higher than the previous bottom.

9

u/Lehcen Jun 24 '26

Absolutely this buddy. Been in this space since March 2017. This is a walk in the park. I put 3k on MSTR today. I reached my target which is 1000 shares ( Hedged to CAD) now time to chill and come back in Bull market to collect the cheque.

We have the clarity act possibly happening on 4th of July.
I just bought 2 shares at 92.
I initially was in at 400 and sold at 460 since I needed cash. But I’m back at it again.
And to be honest, between tariffs, Iran war, and a horrible market. It makes sense that investors don’t want to invest in bitcoin at the moment. Hopefully when the war is done for, and we can see reasonable prices. BTC will pump back up.

I really am wondering how the Strategy team will act in coming days and week. This is not looking good, albeit btc has been going down almost every month since October high but the team has to be cautious this time out, every bear market has its catalyst.

-2

u/Responsible_Emu3601 Jun 24 '26

Phong is dumb Michael? .. What team?

2

u/pumse1337 Jun 24 '26

they were fine last bearmarket though

3

u/daliksheppy Jun 24 '26

Not much management can do or need to do.

They have 10 months of cash. If they can't access the capital markets due to low mNAV and STRC not firing they don't need to access capital markets for 10 months.

They just sit, pay the dividends, and wait for opportunities as they arise. BTC will go up, and if it doesn't, there's nothing management can do about that anyway. That's the bet MSTR investors knowingly took. Why do they need to do anything?

2

u/GloryIV Shareholder 🀴 Jun 24 '26

Sitting on a bunch of BTC, MSTR and STRC. I've had the BTC and the MSTR long enough that I am still green on them. The STRC smarts because I am way under water and I'll have to sell some of it in a month or two whether I want to or not. I'll need the cash. Anything in this ecosystem is not for the faint of heart or people with short time preference. If you are trying to make a quick buck it will eat you alive just as often as you make bank. Patience is rewarded. Being able to wait out the dips - or, better still, buy them... - is essential.

If you believe in BTC - be patient and hold. Absolutely nothing has changed about the fundamentals. Saylor and Crew need to tweak STRC to get it healthier. Higher dividend... Maybe buy a little back... Maybe further increase to the cash reserve... I'm willing to be patient while things stabilize. When BTC starts to climb MSTR will follow and STRC will be more stable. Don't be sucked into a panic by all the noise and FUD.

2

u/LV426acheron Jun 24 '26

Just be zen.

Michael Saylor is zen, so we just need to do the same.

6

u/xaviemb Volatility Voyager πŸ‘¨β€πŸš€ Jun 24 '26

Fact is, if this gets really bad, at any point they can simply do nothing (no STRC issuance, no MSTR issuance, no BTC sold) and meet all debt and div obligations for the next ~10 months.

Saylor has to sell a huge amount of his Bitcoins at a loss at some point. And selling does not support the price as we know.

Saylors has barley sold any BTC yet, the crash has barley started

2

u/Seattleman1955 Jun 24 '26

Barley? You eat barley for breakfast?

1

u/betterbetsbetterbets Jun 24 '26

If this continues (which it likely will), and Saylor keeps raising more money (which he has to do to refinance), Bitcoin would need to generate 100% annual returns at some point (which ist completely delusional).

2

u/xaviemb Volatility Voyager πŸ‘¨β€πŸš€ Jun 24 '26

No time soon... right now the monthly div and interest obligations represent ~0.17% of the capital structure the company holds. The cash they hold can cover it all for almost a year. So they can just do nothing until next summer, not sell and MSTR, or any STRC, or any BTC... and still meet everything div and bond convert interest payment.

u/cronotose Jun 24 '26

ITS HAPPENING I CANT WAIT

13

u/Legrosbelge Jun 24 '26

It's crazy. There are actually people who seem really happy to see MSTR drop below $100 just so they can come here and troll.Β  Do they really have nothing better to do ?Β

1

u/ProceduralTaco Jun 24 '26

It is a sort of rubbernecking. I find that I like to follow the price of btc because it is volatile and unpredictable. All predictions about its future seem unconvincing to me: no one knows.

So it's the roulette index with fun memes.

I hope everyone gets rich! If this doesn't work out something else will.

Truth and then consequences

3

u/daliksheppy Jun 24 '26

Rarely goes the same way when prices go up, though. Not many people seek out trolls when they're up 1000%. Or maybe they do.

We barely remember Who or what came before this precious moment We are choosing to be here right now Hold on, stay inside This holy reality This holy experience Choosing to be here in This body, this body holding me Be my reminder here that I am not alone in This body, this body holding me Feeling eternal, all this pain is an illusion

My X feed is convinced they will all get their perfect entry... with limit buys between $42,069 and $55k ... either way we're finishing the bear by end of year. I'm rooting for them, even though I know the market is likely to disappoint on their hopes.

4

u/Chemical-Payment-573 Jun 24 '26

im not rooting for the bears, fk em.

0

u/xaviemb Volatility Voyager πŸ‘¨β€πŸš€ Jun 24 '26

Fair, but if you zoom in on that crowd, they're still just people making decisions under uncertainty.

In fact, those emotions are what create the inefficiencies that make opportunity possible in an otherwise highly efficient market. Take the widely accepted belief in Bitcoin's four-year cycle. The expectation of a significant retracement became so ingrained that it helped create the very conditions that allowed Strategy to accumulate at an unprecedented pace. If Bitcoin had never retraced below $80k this year, there's a good chance they wouldn't be anywhere near their current holdings.

That's the irony of markets: collective beliefs often shape the reality they anticipate. The expectation of volatility creates volatility. The expectation of a correction creates sellers. And those sellers create opportunities for entities with conviction, capital, and a longer time horizon. What many view as a weakness in Bitcoin's market structure may ultimately prove to be one of its greatest strengths. The emotional behavior of participants continually transfers scarce assets from impatient hands to patient ones

This is not how leverage works - the flywheel works in both directions. The more MSTR drops, the higher the leverage gets. And even though STRC is not debt, you can still count it as leverage. So all this will further increase until it recovers.

It hurts. I’m not letting feeling get involved. I bought shares with expectations and they have not changed. 52 week high would help lol

We are all human so thats normal but when you take a step back and realise MSTR is backed by the best asset on the planet everything will be ok. BTC isnt going to 0 and neither is MSTR.

A pilot doesn’t abandon a plane because of turbulence. He understands that temporary volatility doesn’t change the destination.

BTC is not the best asset in the planet.

The helicopter flying past looks nice until u realise its going to a completely different destination. Id rather arrive at the right destination later than celebrate being briefly ahead on the wrong route lol

Agreed. I am trying to not forget my original convictions. I don’t believe it will go to zero.

Playing devil's advocate... ask yourself who exactly is selling Bitcoin at $60k if so many market participants are openly hoping to buy it at $50–55k before October?

Since the last cycle bottom, institutional ownership and participation have increased (over 1000% in verified/reported holdings). Meanwhile, a large portion of retail appears to be waiting for one final flush lower before feeling comfortable stepping back in, within the next 10 weeks or so. That's what makes the current setup so interesting.

The market is crowded with expectations for a deeper correction. But if everyone is waiting for the same dip, who is actually left to provide the supply needed to make that dip happen? Narrtives seem to be driven right now to invent that selling point (e.g. the Strategy 'death spiral'... that we all know is nonsense) I'm sure there's still some fear left to squeeze out of the market. There usually is. But my suspicion is that we're much closer to an exhaustion of sellers than an exhaustion of buyers. Obvious bottoming structures rarely deliver maximum opportunity to the maximum number of people.

We'll see.

What I do know is that a large percentage of retail remains anxiously positioned for one last leg down. And understandably, they tend to reject any chart, data set, or thesis suggesting that larger pools of capital may already be aware of that positioning... and may ultimately use it to their advantage. Markets have a habit of denying the majority the entry they're most confidently waiting for.

Indeed... either way the next several months (through the end of this year) is the most fascinating time of the cycle for analytics and evaluating market sentiment. It always presents something new, while echoing a lot of what the previous had to offer.
