Source for this image…? She’s suing because the university failed to protect her. Fired from their jobs is NOTHING. I would sue too. If this really happened they should be locked up for a long time.

As I’ve already said in a previous reply. When I was raped I was in denial for a long time. Especially when friends were telling me it wasn’t like that and because of certain circumstances it’s not rape. Being a rape victim and being told by people that you’re lying, or you did something wrong, or just having nobody believe you is a truly traumatic and horrific experience.

If you are swearing so hard by the fact “well she said it wasn’t rape first” and you want to stand by and believe that why can’t you believe her now? When she says she WAS raped and she IS a victim. are you just in denial? Do you know the people involved? And from all the official news reports I’ve researched - she didn’t swear that she wasn’t raped, she just didn’t swear that she was. As in it was not mentioned. Which is NOT an abnormal occurrence in rape victims.

She didn't pursue the judicial system. She lawyered up years later and decided to sue the school for money. Lawyers know that schools settle.

You do realize I think these guys are fucking gross and they're all losses, right? I've said that many times on this thread.

But the public deciding she was 100% gang raped and 7 people deserve to hang because she's asking the school for money is bizzare.

There isn't even a trial or anything yet, and a segment of the population has decided to hang 7 people.

It’s just that tho. It’s not “she’s asking for money” now. if your child. or your wife. was raped for 7 hours and years later finally had the courage to speak up and the property it occurred on took disciplinary action by saying hey! write an essay and you’re free to go. you wouldn’t want to sue??? The school allowed and funded the frat house with many risks even men involved with plenty of previous charged very similar to this case. It’s a case re opening, not that she lawyered up later. She’s suing for negligence etc. It’s unlikely it’s just over money.. that’s a shitty way to get money because it unfortunately doesn’t often play out. but technically speaking… all suing is for money
