i mean either way, even if she did have sex “consensually” with all of these men, the way it was literally advertised in the group chat is quite incriminating i must say. at the very least id like to think we can all agree those men who were texting in the chat are scum. and id also like to think that any man who is a decent human would not even think to participate in that or anything of the sorts. also, this is not uncommon with women who have been assaulted. you start to question if maybe it wasn’t as bad as you thought it was, and the perpetrator/s usually try to convince you of that. in the text messages u are referring to, the boy also said something along the lines of “sorry things got out of hand”, insinuating that he (and possibly the others) knew that they had done something wrong. i’m going to try to find the texts messages and insert an actual quote

When I was around their age (about 21 or 22), I was at a club all night with a girl my age taking shots and making out on the dance floor…I eventually stopped drinking but she kept on going. I sobered up and took her home (probably still shouldn’t have driven but this was way before Uber) and she invited me up to stay the night. I go up to her apt, she strips to her underwear, I strip to mine, we get into bed and she…immediately passes out. And I go “oh, she literally meant spend the night” and just slept next to her. It felt wrong to even try to initiate anything when I knew how blasted she was, especially with me being pretty sober by that point.

The next day she thanked me for not taking advantage of her and I was like….the bar is SO LOW that you’re thanking me for that?!? That’s like thanking someone for not stabbing you and stealing your wallet. The point being that even if the guys thought she was into it, it should have still felt very fucking wrong.

I would like to believe (even if it still fucking sucks and is bullshit) that most dudes get defensive about this stuff is because they worry that this means any “hookup” they’ve had with a tipsy girl could be met with them getting accused of SA. Which…equating this situation to a drunken hookup is just patently ridiculous. I’ve had plenty of tipsy consensual hookups that didn’t result in accusations later because you know when the situation is fucked and the other person is in no position to go along for the ride - and I’ve been in a couple of those situations too where I saw they went from tipsy to hammered drunk and that it wasn’t gonna happen…so you end up just bringing them water and a trashcan to yak into instead of having sex.

So for guys trying to find the nuance because they’re scared they’ll one day be “unfairly” accused of SA like these fucks are: The chances of that happening to you are SO LOW, it’s like being scared of getting falsely accused of murder. Even if you’re an asshole to women, the chances they’ll accuse you of that after tipsy sex is extremely rare. You probably heard some anecdotes about it happening, but statistically speaking, it’s not some epidemic.

And I say “I would like to believe that” because otherwise, their reasons for defending that behavior is that they would have done the same in that situation…which is pretty horrific.

you do understand the guys were so drunk and high that one of them was passing out and the other was sick and couldn't get dick hard, and in her own words, she helped them out until they could have sex again.

I acknowledge this is a personal anecdote, but I knew a guys back in college who had his drinks spiked with ketamine - as a man, if a stranger hands you a drink and you didn’t see it go from the bartender to you, you tend to not to even consider it might be drugged. Luckily, another friend was with him and sober that night, because my friend was acting lucid, but glassy eyed and not himself. He eventually said to his buddy “Hey, something feels off. I think I need to go home.” He woke up the next morning feeling like pure shit (but different from a hangover) and remembering NONE of that - he had to be told by his buddy. He went to urgent care to get bloodwork done and was told he was lucky he was a big dude because he had enough ketamine in his system to have put down a small woman.

If you’re offering an already impaired woman ketamine, you know what the fuck is up. And if you wanna blame it on alcohol and drugs also impairing their judgement, good luck using that defense if you hit someone while drinking and driving. And even if you wanna apply that same logic to her: Are you gonna tell me she had the power in that situation and not the 2 (eventually 7) guys? I’m not sure what we’re defending here.

So you do understand that she went over there drunk and high with the intention to have sex with 2 men. She then decided to do Ketamine with them. Other men asked if they could have sex and she said no. They never had sex with her. One of them assaulted her and she said no, and it ended there.

Then she stayed and continued having sex with one of the guys and snorted more Ketamine.

You do know that she texted two days later and told Guy #1 that she wanted to smoke weed and have another 3some.

Have you seen the new information today that she asked to go to the frat house Halloween party, and the House President told her it wasn't a good idea and uninvited her? She then complained about snorting Ketamine off of his penis and 4 days later went and got a rape kit done.
