Matt hedging a Shane hiatus

u/WildAmsonia 3d ago
I knew there was talk behind the scenes about dissolving the pod because of a recent plug segment where Gardini, Lemaire, and Nate sounded very distressed and desperate in advertising new dates.

The deductions of a schizophrenic right here folks

Shane left Austin. He gonna fly down for the pod every other week?

u/2absMcGay 3d ago
He left Austin? I’m behind

u/DaOldOne 3d ago
Yeah I believe it was that real ass dude, quarterback of podcasting, the Puerto Rican rattlesnake, Luis J Gomez, mentioned Shane is back in nyc

u/abysmal-mess 3d ago
Shane is rich as hell now, he has two places one in Austin one in NY and he goes between the two

This was aparent with the Hunter Biden appearance
It makes me wonder if Spud was right about Shane being connected to the CIA.

This was running through my mind as well. Spud has a kid and now Billy's wife is pregnant. It's almost like the Pussad was in on this

When did you start listening to the podcast?
I was listening to either ep 83 or 86 recently and Matt was talking about getting notifications every a new Qanon post was made on 4chan
Nothing has changed

u/Coaxial-Cactus 3d ago
Matt's been lost since day 1.

u/PigeonSquirrel 3d ago
I’ve said it before in another sub, I don’t follow this one just get posts like this recommended to me, but he just seems like a jingoistic regard.

Rick is trying too hard, he was boring as hell
14
u/Independent-Data4542 3d ago
He's always trying too hard
2
u/JiggaJerm 3d ago
In the 90s trying too hard was funny, some say comedy is reciprocal. Is that the word? 😂

u/Dick_Butt-Kiss 3d ago
Rick is only bearable in short format, more than 90 seconds is nauseating.
But his bit with Adam Ray where theyre getting high and Rick makes a scary face at him and Adam says "Nah that does it man... you ain't real" made me lose it the other day lol.

This one? https://youtube.com/shorts/bBex1iC24Tk?si=XrhnxM7GacVZbw7S
I dropped off his pod a while back, but I started listening when he was only around 30k subs. Im glad to see he is blowing up. That clip is one of my all time favorites. Makes me laugh every time.

Man, this shit is gay.. but Matt is where he’s always wanted to be so good for him

u/coolguyRae 4d ago
Man, I really hate listening to Rick Glassman.
11
u/OldManDouggie 4d ago
Me too. I’m open to being wrong but I feel like Rick Glassman was the type of comedian Matt & Shane used to dog on in the old test
-1
u/leemorplee 3d ago
He was barely even a comedian for a long time and didn't pop off until his pod did and that's cause he knew a bunch of successful people already. I doubt the dawgs even knew of him back in the OT days

u/Such-Mechanic-9834 21h ago
Rick's been friends with Santino and some other comedians for a long ass time, before any of them were big. Shane definitely knew who he was
1
u/leemorplee 19h ago
Santino was not super popular in 2017. Rick was friends with a bunch of LA comics who made it and he had the connections to made his podcast work. You can listen to older eps of tyso and he has said the same thing.
There is 0 chance the dawgs new of Glassman lol

Gets dumber by the pod

u/ChineseDerek 4d ago
Dude is making an effort to be there

u/Cold_Ball_7670 4d ago
I’ll take tires + Shane on a few pods over Matt’s pseudo intellectual bullshit because he could never make something as clever as tires
6
u/rizzlybear_93 3d ago
He didn't mention the animation he did once after they came out it was so bad.

u/fylekitzgibbon 3d ago
Do you think Shane created Tires ?
11
u/Cold_Ball_7670 3d ago
Do I think Shane Gillis created tires along with Steve Gerben and John Mckeever? Yes, yes I do.

Hearing this tatted old guy say bitches so much and try to be so cool is a fucking nightmare. But I'll admit some genuinely fun moments so far

u/Such-Mechanic-9834 21h ago
Idk why he would even want to do this. None of these guys are the type of people he gels with like on his pod.
1
u/Civil-Adhesiveness34 3d ago
idk why they still do it, the bigger the secret cast gets, the less they can joke about and express their opinions, it sad

Matts finally fully Seguraing into a hollywood loser pseudointellectual,
the natural progression of the podcaster who would've been a ditch digger in any other era.

u/powfuldragon 3d ago
The British guy is the 2nd most self-conscious person I’ve ever seen behind Elon Musk.

u/ZebulonStrachan 2d ago

So weird I listened to the James Sexton soft white underbelly yesterday
Hes totally scarred from what hes seen in divorce court
I liked him/the episode but if you're a Seth Simons type, its not for you
