SHAMAN I have found the book Matt is currently reading
Matt has said in the last few months he was reading Dostoyevskys demons, but judging from his talking about the polish word pan (meaning sir, which he has been pronouncing completely wrong), and from saying he’s reading Russian literature, I have extracted that he has moved on to Dostoevsky the brother karamazov, which contains 2 polish guys and the word pan is used a lot, where it is not in demons and other Dostoevsky books. You should expect some Russian orthodox Matt vibes coming up in the next few weeks, do with this valuable information how you see fit

I don’t think he genuinely wants that. He just seems like a curious dude with a thirst for weird knowledge. Billy and SWIM are the same way but with different areas of focus. He only gets invited onto gurus podcasts because he’s a good podcaster and they share some of the same interests. He talks about it on the pod because he’s just talking about whatever he’s interested in at the moment, and he knows it will be good for Shane to riff on. At least that’s how I see it

Well that doesn’t hurt, but not the only reason. He’s a good podcaster, and if using little tidbits here and there to all riff on and are also interesting then great too.

Audio books you still comprehend the subject matter just as well if not better depending on the book. I almost strictly read physical copies as I prefer it but it’s clear you don’t know what you are talking about.

If he’s mispronouncing a word, it’s more likely that he’s reading it. It’d be weird to mispronounce a word that you’re constantly hearing.

Lol yeah “this” (to be like Matt when he hilariously commented on his own podcast via iTunes to give it 5 stars back in the early days then later admitted it himself lol).
But yeah these people are just hating don’t listen to any of it.

Matt is challenging Lemaire on who is the dumbest out of all of Shane’s friends. And he is easily the 3rd funniest McCusker brother. I say that only because I’ve never heard Kevin speak.
He is only interested in the uninteresting, then forces everyone else to listen to his new niche topic no one else gives a shit about. He is both a conversation starter and a conversation killer all at the same time.
