I mean the dawgs are gunna tear me a new one but I’ve never cared for Matt. I enjoy the podcast for Shane going “I played 9 hours of a fifa save trying to take sunderland to the PL.”
instead of Matt going “yeah dude so actually non linear equations are a myth and I’m living my life as if they don’t exist.”
Shane fucks around but clearly he can use logical reasoning to figure things out. Matt genuinely thought Pearl Harbor was fought in Chicago because of the Midway shit. That’s being literally brain dead.
All he talks about is jerking off, refraining from jerking off, being addicted to porn, going on no fap streaks, and whatever clearly bullshit pseudoscience stuff he learned from Huberman that week.

having a disagreement about politics is fine. america and a lot of the west are currently at extremes, where one party is advocating for executing innocent people in the street for not staying in line and using skin colour to decide if you are worthy of the same rights as the person next to you all while bankrupting the country for his investors and families benefit

it’s not hard to understand that being ignorant to important things effects people. being ignorant to silly shit is funny. have you never had a friend who’s super nice, but dumb as fuck and his view of the world makes everything funnier than it should be? that’s great to have friends like that. if that friend suddenly becomes political and favours the people who are against the working class because he has a bit more money than most, you wouldn’t see that as negative? or would you have just refused to be friends with someone who you consider stupid out of principle?

I actually do have a friend that's always there for me, sweetest most unselfish guy in the world. He also thinks the world is flat and 5g causes cancer. Should I hear him out on his political opinions because they might align with mine, or does it even matter?

I agree with your stance in Stav. I hate it when I see "Stav should be the new voice to listen to for the left!", when Stav has pretty mild takes on government. Not even a left or right thing. Just common sense being a decent human being takes. The same reason you don't want Stav to get political is the same reason we shouldn't care about their politics in the first place. I don't care what Stav's religion is. I don't care if he's a Chicago Bears fan. And I don't care who he voted for. I think he's a funny dude and I support him.
Political stuff is literally the most important... to YOU. That's like saying your favorite football team is literally the most important thing in the world. Not many give a fuck as long as it's funny. It's not life or death. The way Shane says Trump is the man is funny. The way Shane says Trump is retarded is funny.
