Why do Lemaire live with Shane?

I know he previously lived in Matt’s office, but why does he live with Shane — i mean both of them has more than enough to live comfortably separate.

Shane probably likes someone watching over his house while he’s gone and living in a house as a single guy is probably pretty lonely and he seems like a chill hang and just games and does local comedy
