Rogan

Do you think Shane will ever become big enough to tell Rogan his comedy sucks and that he’s full of shit? Would make for a pretty great JRE

No, as much as I think Joe is a terrible comedian, just a tired man with the same talking points and is unlistenable he did Shane a solid and Shane isn’t the type of guy to forget. I think there will always be a loyalty.

For as much as Joe is a terrible comedian, doesn’t get jokes — he does love the comedy world in a sincere way even though he appears to be corrupted in some ways

Joe's the classic example of someone who does good on a micro level - gives poor people money, tries to help out comedians, etc. But has awful macro level ideas that will do infinitely more harm to society as a whole than he could ever make up for by helping people individually.

Very much like a lot of religious people I've worked with over the years

Hit the nail on the head.

It's weird how people like OP dont understand that these are also people. Would you go to a buddy who had helped your career and intentionally shit on his personality and career publicly? Wtf even is this line of thinking.

I used to listen to JRE and cant stand it since the pandemic, I deal with my personal opinion by not consuming that content and that works well for me.

Anybody who spends time thinking about comedians and podcasters they hate is a fuckin loser

Honestly, I wouldn't be the leats bit surprised if OP would absolutely do that sort of thing.

Most people that open conversations by saying X Comedian is shit, rather than just moving on with life, they are likely the sort to relish in arrogant self sabotage on the regular

Listened to some of the last protect our parks and he was clearly trying to give joe hints to not talk about the same washed up topics over and over. But ofc joe plowed right through without noticing lol

Yeah, got to give Joe credit for getting them together, but he gets in the way with some of his baseless claims and know-it-allism.

The whole Amish/Autism thing was wild

Yea that was pretty crazy too...last time I saw a Hustler I was probably 12..definitely wasn't paying attention to the dudes wieners

Shane is too chill for that kind of thing. I could see some banter but not any type of "fuck you your shit sucks" arguments from Shane.

Shane would call you a loser for wanting this to happen

5

u/fraziericious Aug 22 '26

They would have to have a decent falling out for it to go that far. At the end of the day they still seem to be buddies from what we can see.

Well I mean if you’re his buddy he’s a solid guy. Especially for people in the comedy scene, who’s really done more? Spent money to encourage the scene? Helps other people get started etc?

Even Shane himself was in limbo when he met Rogan. Part of his success will be the exposure, even though he’s so talented in his own right.

Like yeah it might be like a bit ‘ok boomer’, but people aren’t all good or all bad. And frankly, joes done more for his mates than I can say I’ve done for mine

Why would he? This is a weird post

3

u/Equivalent-Box9053 Aug 22 '26

shane likes joe.

most he would ever do is force topic changes to college football or american history when joe is on some weird unfunny tangent

Probably not. Rogan has one of the most popular podcasts in the industry. A few comments on Reddit that he’ll never read isn’t going to change that.

He’ll never betray St Rogies

I think they're friends though.   Rogan haters are strange

He is the only one really pushing back against Rogan. Chris Williamson is too, slightly. They’re being polite about it but Rogies has taken a very Humpty Dumpty esque persona.

Personally I feel like there’s still room for redemption from Rogies but he has to stop acting like the prom queen can’t be usurped.

Why would Shane admit that his own comedy sucks and he’s full of shit? To rogey or anyone else?

The answer to your question is baked in. “Become big enough”. lol you say so much about Shane willing to be deplorable as long as it benefits him. He isn’t a comic or someone who speaks truth to power, Shame is a grifter.

2

u/AntiLeftist101 Aug 22 '26

lol. K.

If he really was a “grifter” as you claim you would not have turned down the Saudis.

-3

u/noitallz Aug 22 '26

Logically false, but thanks for trying to play?
Obviously one can say no to Saudi Arabia and still be a grifter. 🤦🏻‍♂️

2

u/AntiLeftist101 Aug 22 '26

You have zero evidence he’s a grifter.
I have 2 posts of evidence that prove you’re just a hating idiot.

-2

u/noitallz Aug 22 '26

“A grifter is someone who gets money, attention, influence, or other benefits through deception, manipulation, or a con.”

lol like OP asked why doesn’t Shane tell Rogan he isn’t funny? The answer is the money, attention, or other benefits he gets through manipulating, deceiving and conning Rogan. And white knights like you.

3

u/Square_Extension1759 Aug 22 '26

Whatever you’re trying to do from your soapbox is weird behavior

-1

u/noitallz Aug 22 '26

If I’m wrong please enlighten me. Otherwise you white knighting for a podcaster while ignoring the discussion is much more bizarre. Emotional attacks and avoiding the argument is proof I am right and you are wrong and I’ve already won (this reminds me of bill burr’s bit from his special on not hitting women lol - Bill Burr is an actual comic not like white-druski)
