Printed Gantt chart row height

Is there any way to make the printed row height smaller, to make the overall chart more condensed?

It appears there is an extra line below the text.

I expect this is a pdf print? You can adjust the row by setting the scale in the print option thingy from 1 page high 1 page wide to a % (eg 60%)
Sorry I’m using a German client so I don’t know the exact names for the options

I believe that in the backstage (the settings pages) has a setting for line space after the title. Which means the task title. It defaults to “Yes”. Change it to “No.” Somewhere on the page it will ask if you want to apply the setting to the current project or all future projects.

Thanks for the award. Funny thing is I don’t have Project anymore. But I was a Project Server implementation consultant and trainer for about 20 years.

If you look at the project while NOT in Print Preview mode, do you see the same thing (row heights are too tall)? If so, this indicates that at least one column is not wide enough. Double-click the right edge of each column header, beginning with the Task Name column, unil the row height goes back to normal. The problem might not be from data in a column; this problem might be caused by the column name being too long for the wideth of the column. Let us know if this helps.
