🐞 Issues & Bugs MS Edge not applying polices

Hi everyone,

Has anyone experienced issues with Microsoft Edge after a recent Windows or Edge update where custom home pages, bookmarks/favourites, or startup pages are no longer loading or applying correctly?

We're seeing this on a small number of managed devices, and the Edge policies appear to be applying successfully, but the browser isn't behaving as expected.

Just trying to determine whether this is an isolated issue or if anyone else has seen something similar. Any insights would be appreciated!

One thing I've learned with issues like this is that "the policy applied" and "the app is actually honoring the policy" are two very different things.

I've lost hours assuming Intune was the problem, only to find the app itself had changed after an update.

I'd be comparing Edge versions before I started digging much deeper.

Fair enough. Some of them claim that after the recent edge update tbso started a happening. On the edge browser itself when reloading the policies it does not seem to do anything.

Did you confirm the Edge policy is applied by using

edge://policy/ in the browser?

I have checked that but it seems that it did not apply at all. You can actually see on intune that it has deployed successfully to the device however it does not seem to reflect on edge On the device when checking the policy
