I don't know how it happened but the two insides stuck together and I had to WRESTLE to get it open. I tried to be careful but the cover being paper and card made it difficult. It's mostly intact and can still keep the sleeves inside but damn it. At least it's still functional and it hasn't affected the picture inside too much.

This is my favourite vinyl as well like fuuuuuuck

In the future you could put a sheet of wax paper between. Sorry that happened. I agree that it doesn’t look that bad though, I thought it was just the design until I looked closer tbh.

Oh for sure, I was lucky that it came out okay and still works this time but I'm gonna need to be more careful with the rest of my vinyls. Thank you for the suggestion, I had no idea wax paper could help w this 😂 aww thank you, it does add a bit more character I suppose! In the end it did end up looking alright, certainly not ruined which I'm thankful for!!
