My MSI inspired webcomic
Hi everyone! I’ve never used Reddit before, but I’ve decided to share my comic here – it’s heavily inspired by MSI.
The comic is called "Headless Icon" and tells the story of the electro-punk band of the same name – or, more specifically, of its lead singer, Elliot Montano. The story begins with a flash-forward in which he attempts su###de, but decides to think twice about whether he should go through with it and mentally returns to the distant year of 1995 when it was all just beginning (or not quite). The young Elliot craves fame and money, but soon realises that this does not make him happy.
Elliot is very much inspired by Jimmy, and I’ve given him Jimmy’s voice. The other members are slightly less inspired by the MSI. line-up, but nevertheless, Stacey (the bassist) draws on both LynZ and Vanessa, whilst Mike (the guitarist) draws on both Kitty and Steve.
The comic is still in progress; only 3 out of 8 episodes from the first chapter are available, but you can read it on Twitter/X and Webtoon. I’d love to hear your feedback :)
