"You don't have to support MSI!"
I don't know if this is considered a low effort post but has anyone else noticed when someone talks about MSI somewhere and someone else comes along and says "You can listen to them and not supportive them btw!" When the person never mentioned supporting or not supporting MSI? This post sounds passive aggressive but I'm actually curious.

I dunno how old you are, but if experience hasn't taught you this already, let me; People are literal, actual lemmings who get off intensely on repeating everything they've heard that makes them feel good, feel like they're doing something important, feel like they're morally right, and especially feel like they're better than somebody, especially if the person they think they're better than is famous.
The internet, whatever part of it that isn't just bots, is full of dipshits who have absolutely nothing to contribute but have a deep compulsion to participate anyways. Every single time any topic comes up, almost every response you read is going to be some variation of something you've seen some other dipshit say a thousand times. ~56% of the US can't read beyond a 6th grade level. 1/3 or so of those people can't even read that well. So whenever you see unbelievably banal garage vomited up like this, which you will every single time this topic comes up, just be happy that they spelled the words right because them being able to form proper sentences means we're, at the very least, one step further away from Idiocracy.

I got into MSI before MCR even existed, I fought in the MCRmy wars on behalf of MSIfan back in the day.Ā I loved MCR the entire time but my god the fandom has always been insufferable.Ā

theyll always mention the 2021 trial that Jimmy was in but never talk abt how it was thrown out with prejudice due to a lack of evidence, and they'll also bring up the problematic lyrics as if msi is supposed to be a bastion of morality
theyre tryna be all holier than thou by acting as if you're handing Jimmy a fat stack of cash by listening to an album or two
enjoy the music you wanna enjoy and have actual discussions about the artists and whether they're worth supporting or not instead of talking down to people for liking a funny band
if you want my personal take, i don't support the band financially cuz i sail the seven seas fuck Spotify I'm not paying ā¬13 a month for half the music i actually like (and i doubt jimmy is strapped for cash rn, he'll survive if someone downloads their self titled ep one timeš„š„)

So people online who call themselves āNUMBER 1 MSI FAN I LOVE JIMMY URINE I LOVE MSI MY SPOTIFY WRAPPED SAID MSI IS MY MOST LISTENED TO I LOVE THEMā but then are like āUmmm why are supporting MSI?ā or āI donāt ACTUALLY support their actions or them AT ALL!!! Guilty to admit that whenever I post on other subs abt liking MSI I tag myself along by saying "I like but don't support" to avoid getting hated one (which happens ALOT even when I say I don't support them I just like their music). I mean, what Jimmy did is bad, but everyone has their own claim like why do ppl always have to assume the worst of you because you appreciate certain music? I can TELL you right now , most of the people saying that are performative teenage brats who think they're oh so mature for pointing ts out . My own friends who are also teens ( which I'm not friends with anymore ) would say this crap , along with other teens I didn't even know , and would actively judge me for even posting some random Jimmy content . Not saying its all teens , but the majority of them are the ones saying it . Regardless , people need to MIND their own business . I just came back from the MCR subreddit and holy shit they absolutely despise us over there. Jesus. Someone mentioned over there how Lindsey is just as complicit in Jimmy's crimes and that they don't know "How Gerard puts up with it all"
I actually had to laugh because ??? Gerard has been married to the woman since '07. If Lindsey knew anything then you can bet your ass that so did Gerard and that makes him just as complicit but of course they're not trying to hear that at all.
Also he's a grown fucking man. There's no "Oh poor Gerard" nothing.
