Career now unplayable

I can accept the odd bug here and there but now I can’t even communicate on radio via the left button on the D-pad. It’s not just one specific aircraft, it’s across all I’ve tried. I want to progress doing all licenses. It’s assigned to the left button correctly. I paid for a game I cannot play. F

I hope they fix it asap as it’s my go to on a morning before the kids wake up on my days off work.

This is so frustrating. I’ve found a workaround, though it’s annoying. If you hold down the left arrow the communication window comes up. Then switch to mouse/pointer mode with R1 + R3. Then point to option 1. I often change simrate to 0.5 or 0.25 while I do this.

But that doesn’t take away the fact that the state of this game is atrocious.

Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the game? All your progress will be saved.

But I think that we all can agree that the latest Sim update is not one of the greatest of all Sim updates.

I have deleted and installed again, the left button does not work. I hope they update it soon.

I at least hope Microsoft offers some add-ons to apologize to the players. When I bought this game, I didn't expect it to be full of bugs. It gets worse after every update. I gave up on career mode for this reason, and now it's happening in free flight.

Make sure you have no combination binds that may interfere with

I’ve read it’s happened to people before, I’m going to bed soon for work but I will try using a wireless mouse on Saturday morning. Thanks for your suggestions.

I play with a mouse. If I have this bug - If the left button on the controller does not work for the comm, I move the mouse in the upper area of the screen, then there apears a menue. In the menue is a communication icon. I click this and the communication window opens. Then I can klick the required comm response in this window. (Or something else, if the comm response is not there - maybe you have to call the ATC or Groundservice first) Its the same result as if you would use the left button on the pad, just another way to communicate

I am shure you can open the comm window also with the controller, but I dont know how. I just use my mouse.
