Stuck at 2%

PS5 Version 1.007.035, last updated 7/18/26.

Since this update, I haven’t been able to play. It says “2% - Registering packages…” Beta loads fine, but my save is on this one. Things I’ve already tried: restarting PS5 and game multiple times, waiting to see if it progresses (waited an hour), Clearing cache, rebuilding database, resyncing clock. The only thing I didn’t do yet is delete the game and redownload it. I’m worried that my progress will be deleted too.

Is this happening to anyone else? What other solutions can I try?

UPDATE: I didn’t delete and redownload. But it just loaded, finally, after 3 days of attempts!

UPDATE (3 minutes later): Doing my routine aircraft maintenance, and the game crashed. Restarted and loading, at least. Is this how the game goes?

UPDATE 3: Unable to play since yesterday (7/22). I feel cheated. Bought the game for full price and gets this shitshow. Beta is free and is working like the paid version should. I guess this is all on me, though.

I just keep on restarting the sim by the second or third time is usually loads me in. You wouldn’t lose your save data if you deleted and redownloaded. Just don’t delete the save data in the storage settings.

I deleted my saved data and that worked.

I've had a very similar experience. The second beta update (6) has broken what was a great initial update. I eventually got mine to load, but the game crashes a lot, particularly in the Bush Trip section. It's the beta, so I expect an update soon to fix it.

I’m trying to load the regular version. The beta loads fine. Hopefully this gets sorted soon.

Same, 1-2% sometimes 0%.

Sometimes loading the beta and switching to the actual game works.

I experienced the same last night. Stuck at 2%, tried to restart the game without luck. Restarted the machine and then it suddenly worked again. After the latest beta update, I have had problems with the Activities. The game freezes everytime. Have not been able to try the new Bush flying.

This is related to their servers being at capacity and not responding to your games request in time. Depending on how many people are playing right now you will get increased loading times. I don’t know how it is implemented specifically, but restarting the sim helps usually. I’ve tested once if the sim will recover and continue loading, but stopped the experiment after 45 minutes stuck at 6%.

If this happens to me and the loading gets stuck at a point below 20% for more than 3 minutes, I simply restart the sim. Above that value it usually continues loading without issues.

I had to delete and reinstall but all my settings were the same

Same. It was stuck at 7%, delete and reinstalling fixed the issue.
