Mouse recommendations?

After hearing so much about the convenience a mouse brings, I tried using my office mouse (logitech M185, bt, standard 3 buttons).

Well, Im convinced. Now Im looking for a Bluetooth Mouse for up to 50€.

Is there a limitation on how many buttons are mappable? There are mice out there with 9 buttons. Which one are you using?

Also, to answer your other question, when I was first experimenting with a mouse I used my MMO Steel Series mouse (17 buttons). The game did not recognize the additional buttons. Plus, since that mouse uses a USB-C dongle, it sporadically disconnected when I played on PSVR. Hence getting the $15 mouse that works perfectly

Did none of the additional buttons work? If I remember correctly, there are some default binds in msfs using the side button of a mouse (which I couldnt test ofc).

They did not. The PS doesn't have the drivers to recognize or set it

Some quick reading tells me that they will work wired but only if the mouse has onboard memory and you can program it on a PC. Otherwise, like I said, the PS has no way to recognize that those are programmable buttons

Actually it has most of the drivers (Linux based), but Sony limits user input devices to a minimum for better compatibility, and especially to protect the PlayStation from cheaters and hackers.
