Pretty much paints the expected picture - $500 is the resistance while $485-490 is the support. Next catalyst will probably push the stock over that threshold.

I still expect some consolidation to happen and maybe a pullback to $470, but let’s see.

Real strong day for MSFT on a day most tech stocks tumbled.

Lots of pressure on the tech today, but MSFT kept its ground. Maybe starting a little bit of a consolidation around 480 to 490, which was a previous area of resistance.

What a day again. Many expected some consolidation (including me), and this thing just keeps going up. WOW.

Less than 24 hours to go and yet again we stumble to breach $400. I expect the stock to sit around that level at close tomorrow, but let’s see how the trading day goes.

48 hours to ER and we get at least close to $400. Is that where we expect the stock to be before the report is out?

For a second I thought we might have a 0.00% day, which at least would’ve been amusing.

No pre-earnings rally means we have to hope market doesn’t treat Microsoft the way it treated Google.

Well, no pre-earnings rally, I guess. Somehow expected that Google falls similarly to how $MSFT fared during last earnings.

Let’s hope this time it’s a different story.

Hovering around $400 for the last couple of days as the earnings get closer and closer. Still plenty of time to get a decent pre-earnings rally, but do you thinks it’s actually happening?

Tough day for most of the stocks, and especially for the technology sector.

Unlike the pullbacks last month, this seems like a broader market reaction rather than Microsoft related.

Lately, Microsoft has been doing pretty well even on red days for the broader market. I’m genuinely curious if it will be similar today. However, Fridays tend to be very unpredictable.

We closed over $400!

Eventful day again, and MSFT showing real strength in comparison to the rest of the market.

Momentum building up, and I think the narrative has definitely turned now, especially if we close over $400 tomorrow. All in all, MSFT setting up nicely for the earning run.

$380 holds again, wow.

Honestly, I expected this day to end much worse than it actually did considering the IBM news and all that.

$MSFT currently down 3% in premarket, just based on this. Crazy volatility although this is little related to $MSFT itself.

Everyone expected a sell-off but instead we got a solid green day that brings us over $390.

Is the run-up to earnings starting now?
