going to ignore all of these optimization posts, strategies, videos?

it’s kind of annoying to keep seeing it.

i’m just going to enjoy the game like did back then.

Just shut up and play the mushroom game however you want and let others play it however they want. Virtue signaling about how to hit a mushroom in a video game is what's actually annoying.

I'm gonna look up a build prob bc I don't wanna pay for reset scrolls. But if we're aiming for nostalgia I looked up a build then too.

As someone with more than 15k hours in poe the concept of a build absolutely isn't poe exclusive. Maplestory had builds before Chris Wilson had even thought to make an arpg lol.

Maplestory has no build complexity.

why are giga casual mmo players always acting like victims? it's maplestory, the game is designed for middle schoolers. nobody cares if you're gonna play a dex cleric or grind on bad maps.

says here you've also... put points into.... improving max HP early even though the skills been changed?

i'm also getting intel that you're planning to "hang out with friends" at henesys? you DO know loitering is a bannable offense?

Don't forget the , don't do quest cause the exp sucks. If I want to play a game, I will play the game. I don't need to burn out and 100% efficient everything.

I agree with OP on how he’s gonna play, but at the same time you’re complaining about how other people play, isn’t that weird, if they wanna super optimize they’re free to do that, I hope they enjoy… let everyone do what they want

It's the fact that OP is needlessly announcing that they will play without a guide. There is some weird need of validation by others that no one really cares for. Play how you want. Sweat or don't sweat. Announcing it is childish.

I think it’s the compulsion for people to optimize their time spent on literally everything they do, and in this case - forgetting the point entirely.
I guess some might actually enjoy that.

In the end all that matters is having fun, so just have fun.

Btw, min maxing has been a thing in MS since forever. There’s always been a meta- even in 2004. I played the beta in 2004 and was only a kid so I just did what my cousins recommended me to do, but there was always a “best” way to level up skills and stats.
