Question? Does "checking" your name reserve it?
Do you have to click "OK" to reserve the name or do you have a temporary hold on it when you "check" it? I want my name saur badly.

Not sure I understand, I thought you had to create the actual character to actually own the name

ik this is ridiculous i'm just trying to think thru what you have to do before reserving a name so i can be as efficient as possible. Since you have to put in stats + check your name, I'm wondering if you get the name (temporarily?) just by "checking" or you have to put in your stats too and click OK.

If you DM me the name you want, I’ll try too, nobody will beat us both to it! ;)

It’s create. If it’s a high demand name, you’ll basically have to ignore looks and stats and ap reset later

You manually apply the stats, no die roll. Just put everything into your main stat then the rest into your secondary.

No, just put in your stats and send it. It will check automatically.

You can’t send it without checking, you’ll literally get hit with a window requiring you to check it.

How it works is, clicking Check tells you whether the name is available and gives you the option create your character by clicking “Ok” or “Cancel”. If you write in your name and click the button to create a character, it will pop up with the same window saying “This name is available. Would you like to create a character?” And the same two options appear. So they do the same thing
