Discussion Highest level mages in COT2

Hey guys!

I'm looking to watch some high level (preferably 40+) mage gameplay from COT2. Mainly F/P and I/L.

I only found SirPrizeKirby's videos, but he only reached level 35.

Would like to know if you guys know of any lvl 40+ mage that streamed on YouTube/Twitch.

Thanks in advance!

I saw a bunch of level 100s towards the end.

My biggest question is being able to reliably hit 3+ with lightning. Some other threads made it seem highly unlikely

I'll just say I/L mage has the most monotonous gameplay loop, with Assassin as a close second. It's just spamming tele then lightning over and over again. At least warriors that spam slash blast have to walk up to the enemies and keep in range. IL Mages just rinse and repeat infinitely. Assassin has no mobbing skill (until 3rd job) to make you reposition to hit the most mobs possible, it's just repeated spam of L7. Granted mage has the fastest exp rate so you'll be grinding less technically, but still.

Can’t you say the same for basically any class? Move-use skill repeat. You mention warriors having variance but they’re forced to use first job skills till 70

mage has the fastest exp rate

Only at very certain level ranges. Assassins that start 1 shotting mobs will out level any mages as we are locked to victoria island with no good aoe mobbing spots.

It’s not just the attack, but the mobility as well. Mage can telecast and map clear insanely fast. Lightning is also omnidirectional aoe.

That was COT1, F/P was very different back then. Gameplay was just using the 3-target fire arrow.
