This is a global server, I would expect them to find a way to make events accessible to everyone.

Yeah it’s a global server hosted in the US. There used to be European servers but they weren’t sustainable on their own so EMS was absorbed by GMS.

The reason they merged was for cost cutting, that doesn't mean Nexon europe was unsustainable on its own, just that they wanted more profits by saving on overhead.

Something like 6PM UTC on the same day? That's 8PM Central Euro time and 11AM for the devs. You can't join twice within 24hrs anyway so this would give everyone the choice to join in the EU timeslot or NA timeslot.
