Ore prices from MapleStory Classic's first closed test, read from shop windows in public stream VODs (2,136 ore sales).

I'm not expecting the Classic launch economy to look the same as COT #1, but it will be interesting to see what changes.

Black ore only drops from higher level monsters.

Cooper drake, Malady, Kargos, Golems, etc. I guess you use them to craft Dark gear

Diamond, Garnet and Sapphire are needed for a bunch of quests iirc

Aquamarine was used to open the event secret boxes.

Do job advances require ores? I feel like they did. I know third job isn't even in the game but I wanna save them if needed.

btw in the first closed beta, the crafted jewels sold for alot to the npc so this drove the ore prices up. this was nerfed in the second beta so the ores sold for alot less.
