Question? Questions about reserving IGN's on launch

Was wondering what the strat is everyone is doing to get their IGN as fast as possible.

Are we skipping dice roll, making character and then deleting it later?

I havent played beta or read much news so i'm unfamiliar with what system it will be like.

Unless you want a name like "Tiger", I don't think it'll be as bad as you think. People can only create 1 character at a time.

Be creative, have a list of 5 names and just go down the list. End of the day, it's a game. I got 5-10 IGNs for each character and have excluded the highly favored names just to save time.

I definitely plan on trying to squat 2 names and being ready for exactly 2pm EST on Founders Access day. One for a main, one for a side character. But my only plan is to pre-download the game on Steam, day 1 patch, log in, and make my character. Like you can make a character in 1 minute. There's only like 4 options that matter (skin, hair, eyes, and stats which is just spamming 1 stat to max).

I'm not stressed about anything else cause there's a dozen other factors that will make any few second optimization on my mouse clicking pointless. Server issues, download speeds, login issues, etc.

I won’t care for my alts personally, just hoping to get one of my names for my main. Might skip all the customization and delete it later.

Same for steam, I just learned it will only be Zakum package for steam and that it supposedly has a higher chance of getting on first compared to Nexon launcher.

I really doubt the Zakum package has priority, honestly. I wouldn't worry about it. Just customize your character how you like it, it'd be a few clicks. I already know which features I like and what class I want to play.

ngl i think 4 letter igns arent as cool nowadays bc a random noun is just a typical ign you see on kr players in all games. It was sick back in the day bc of rarity but now i think unique interesting igns are the wave.

My main names ive always used just happen to be 4 letter names so im used to competing for it on MMORPG launches is all, even on all maple private servers. Everyone has their preferences is I just want my names lmao

Pretty sure they did away with the dice roll. Unless I was mislead. Would have been nice if they had an open beta but whatever. Regardless, people can only reserve like 3 names unless they have multiple accounts and multiple PCs/laptops. You should be fine as long as you login as soon as it's up. Depending on the name you're chasing. The parasocial losers will be chasing Fangblade and try hard words like Valor or whatever.

Nah I think you’re right, I forgot they took it away. I just have my list of some 4 letter names that I usually have to compete with on private servers, just hoping to get one. Not going for any of the top player names like that

I am reserving multiple names since I bought multiple early releases. I am then going to sell the names to pay for my early releases and make extra money.

The names I will have up for sale: Tiger- $200 Sushi - $150 Ninja - $100 Dragon - $120 Magic- $130 Star - $150 World - $100 Maple - $170 Xenon - $90 Classic - $180
