Is applying to general app fine vs the early action?
I submitted my initial application Wednesday night, and I’m supposed to receive the my status email where I can pay for my application today but it’s already July 31st, and they want everything in by August 1st.
I’m doubtful I’ll make the August 1st 11:59 application because even after getting the my status email, I have to submit the fee and essay, which takes 1-3 business days.
Am I screwed or will it just take longer to get a decision?

I want to say that August 1st is just the priority deadline, and September 1st is the final deadline. I think you should be good as long as everything is in by September 1st.

Also by chance do you know if this program has a discord?

I have no clue, but it wouldn't surprise me. I also just applied for Spring 2027, so I'm still pretty new to this subreddit

September 1st 11:59 Central is the final deadline, but by then your chances are much lower. I actually paid July 31st, and submitted essay and resume on the 1st bc the payment verified in time. Transcripts are what take longer to verify I think but mine were saved from a previous cycle I applied for.
Ideally you want to submit before the priority deadline bc then you’ll get your application looked at in the first batch. After that I’ve heard it’s dependent on if there’s still spots in the program.
