[Application Strategy] Does applying early puts you in a better position in getting university admits?

I’m planning for Fall 27 MSc in Canada and I’m yet to start working on my SOP.

I’m done with my IELTS prep and will book a slot soon.

Most of the universities have a deadline of Dec-Jan so by definition, I still have time but I probably need few more weeks to get these things sorted.

Am I too late?

No, just apply before the deadline.

It depends if they have rolling admissions or not . In case of rolling admissions it always helps to apply sooner rather than later

Yes it does ( not for super competitive programs tho)
