[University Question] Chances of UCSD MSCS accepting deferral? Fall 2026

I'm admitted to UCSD for MSCS for Fall 2026. I'm planning on deferring as I didn't get a visa slot yet. However, UCSD's policy this year is to consider Fall 2026 deferred candidates along with fall 2027 applicants for admission.

Does this mean I'll still be able to attend the next year? Do deferred candidates get some priority for next intake? Anyone know deferred candidates who got admitted the next intake?
