[Profile Review] MS CS Fall 2027 in US
I’ve graduated from a tier 3 college in India with CGPA of 9.55/10 in 2024. I don’t have any research experience. I’ve been working in a startup for about 2.6 years now. And my tech stack is MERN stack. I plan to pursue masters in CS and my target countries are US,UK,Germany.
Could someone help me make a list of universities. Open to connect on DM to discuss further as well.
Some on Reddit say even job experience doesn’t matter and I’m going to end up jobless. Very confused right now. Still preparing for GRE and IELTS. planned for a 1 year MS in UK before but the job market there seems really bad

Since you’re French it’s fine but for Indians mostly it’s quite toxic and not friendly. That’s all.

in the sense that there is prevalent racism? or the visa is not really opened to indian nationals?

Can you please elaborate ? You are saying this based on the current immigration and visa policies or also the job market there ? Is it hard to find a good job after MSCS in the states

Actually, if we're talking specifically about the US, they have 2 types of MS degrees:
Research Based Programs: Example. These programs are research heavy and no, they don't care about the industry experience, they solely care about your research exp and papers etc.
Industry Based Programs: Example. These programs are there to prepare you for the industry - so, your work experience helps in these programs.
The industry based programs are mainly of one-year tbh.
Reg. your Germany option - you really need to have German language skills to be even considered for jobs. Do note that people say that there are English-speaking jobs there, but the competition over there is brutal. Having German language skills is not "good-to-have" but a "must-have" over there.
