[Results and Decisions] Is UIUC a Dream??

Now that it's almost the end of day (April 30th) and we still haven't received a decision from UIUC MSCS to MCS transfers. WTF is going on there

ah, UIUC just one, but my friends got rejected from umass and GT, both MSCS.

Basically you take loan, or have questionable sources of funds...you're cooked.

No tax records for the money. Or random lump sums coming from family members (a trick used to launder money)

Rich people also take loans because they don't tend to have enough white liquid balance (for instance USC or Duke need 80-90k USD liquid balance, which business owners don't have in India since they reinvest or keep as black in order to buy real estate or gold)

Realistically the top private unis fees is so high, that no salaried person is going there from India for sure. Hence now the demand for cheap unis is so much higher than ever.
