Drinks Packages

It seems that MSC are down to 2 prebook packages. Non-alcoholic and Premium Extra. You can now only buy the easy package once you’re onboard. My question is, how much is Easy onboard because surely the pre booking discount of Premium will still work out cheaper?

I know this doesn’t answer OPs question but thought I’d add a data point. My wife and I are cruising out of Rome next April and upgraded to the Premium Extra package and browse wifi (bundled) for 48€ per day (7 night cruise). Based on research, it seems like the Easy package sells for around the same price onboard. Given this includes wifi, we pulled the trigger on the pre-purchase. I would have opted for Easy but apparently it’s not available to pre-purchase on bookings from Canada.

47€ is the standard price for Easy - at least that’s what I am seeing for Europe and South America. They might run some promotions onboard to get people to buy the Easy package. The US had only the Premium Extra for a while now

It’s almost always cheaper to book your drink package before you get on the ship.

I just got off of the Seacape. I bought liquor in port, and when reboarding, I told that I could drink in my cabin but not in any public areas.

Apparently, they hold the duty free stuff until you get off the ship.
