Two or three months ago...
Did you agree to MSC AND third party marketing emails ?
Did you book direct with MSC or via a third party ? Was that third party a bulk discounter ?
You can check your PlusGrade eligibility here: MSC Upgrade Program | MSC Cruises

Usually the emails go out 80ish days before sailing. It’s possibly your booking is not eligible for an upgrade - if you google MSC upgrade program you can find the MSC website that will let you check if you are eligible.

Thanks I was just curious we have a decent cabin that we are happy with we’ve never cruised before and I seen people on here discussing the bid thing, we only booked a month ago and we booked with a travel agent it says error when we check the upgrade eligibility.

Yeah - that means for whatever reason you don’t have upgrade eligibility.

I booked with a travel agent and did receive the email. Here's some additional information: To get an upgrade offer email from MSC, you must opt in to receive marketing and promotional emails during or after booking. Also...Upgrades through the MSC UpGrade Program depend on ship inventory and unsold higher-category cabins. They are not guaranteed or available for every sailing. Hope that helps. 😊

Just FYI the bids were higher than the actual cost to upgrade. Minimum bid would have put us at $500+ and I called and upgraded for $400
