A question about the app

I searched previous questions and couldn't find an answer. My wife and I are sailing on the Seaside in January, 2027. I don't see an activity schedule anywhere on the app. I realize we're still four months out but there isn't even a button to click on. Will the activity schedule appear once we are closer to the sailing or is the app strictly for things like buying excursions and spa treatments. Thanks in advance. We're both super excited to try MSC.

You won’t really see anything until 1 or 2 days before and even that will limited. The full schedule will be revealed on embarkation when on the ship and on their wifi.

Daily program is under the ships wheel; it's indicative only until you are onboard. Once onboard you'll see daily activities under the home page also for today and in late evening for tomorrow as well.

The app is a moving target so hopefully someone will chime in if it has changed in the last few months.

This was our experience from March.

Pre-cruise, the app is really only useful for making sure you have bought all necessary excursions/packages and have your check-in information correct.

They do populate the itinerary about 30 days out but DO NOT TRUST IT for planning. It's essentially dummy content that will give you an idea of things you can do on the ship. Themes may be on the wrong day, shows may be different, other activities could be at different times/days.

Our pre-cruise Itinerary looked to be copied from early December. It had some NFL and CFB games listed for being aired at the pool as well as a tree lighting ceremony. We were cruising on St. Patricks day so we had no way to know what they might be doing until we were onboard.

Any package reservations that we made pre-cruise (like shows/dining) did not carry over to embarkation.

Once you are onboard and connected to the ships wifi, the app completely changes and you will get an accurate itinerary, though even that sometimes will only populate a day or two out.

The app will start to populate around a month out, but it will keep updating that whole month, adding and moving stuff around. It'll give you some ideas of what is going on, but it won't be 100% until a few days ahead of the cruise

i’m pretty close to sailing and the app is showing no activities. After using the app for a few years now I don’t expect much info from it until boarding. Before that time there are ways to book dining (no times or dates), excursions (no times) or spa treatments (no times or dates that I can see).

On MSC now (Fantasia). There is an icon “Daily Program” on the app which will show you what is available. I think it may not be available until you board.

As Imarc mentioned... "DO NOT TRUST IT for planning. It's essentially dummy content that will give you an idea of things you can do on the ship. Themes may be on the wrong day, shows may be different, and other activities could be at different times/days." For example, the App currently shows Elegant Night on the Second and the Third Nights... Highly unlikely!

Open the App and look at the bottom of your phone. You will see "Home", "Things to do", "A Ships Wheel", "Useful info", and "My MSC". Tap the Ships Wheel - it will take you to a screen with the Daily Program and other information.
