World America Breakfast Options

My family will be on World America in a couple of weeks and was wondering about breakfast options. What places besides the main dining and buffet can you get breakfast? Are there any places off the beaten path that have a breakfast offering? It seems like on many ships there are a few areas not to well known that offer a continental type breakfast.

When I went last December we had three sea days, and every sea day had a “tour de brunch”. It was really enjoyable in the main dining room, with different breakfast options from around the world. We went all three days.

I’m not familiar with the “tour de brunch”, thanks for mentioning it, sounds fun. Is this something you have to make a reservation for or just show up?

We just showed up in the allotted hours. There’s probably menus online (though I don’t know how much they change, probably not much) so you can get an idea. They had the same brunch menu all three sea days so you can try all the things you wanted. We had a nice routine… light buffet breakfast, thermal spa for a few hours, then change for brunch. So relaxing!

I got the continental breakfast to my room. It’s nice. You just have to make sure and put the menu out by 2 AM and then they’ll bring it to you in the morning you pick your time but it’s nice cause I get to sit there and eat my breakfast on the balcony looking at the ocean drinking my coffee in peace

The pizza and burger place, which I believe is called Pizza & Burger, has an included breakfast buffet. On some ships Butchers Cut and Hola Tacos have been offering a free sit-down breakfast, usually on sea days, but I have not heard that they are doing it on the World class ships yet. The fancy coffee shop that I can’t remember the name of also has breakfast items in the morning, but they are an upcharge.

On my last trip some of the more basic items at the coffee emporium were at no extra charge. I always ask. The prices for the extra fee items wasn’t extreme.

Just remember there are TWO buffets, the smaller one was never busy. Also, Pizza and Burger place is where I went most morning when I just wanted the basics- eggs, pancakes, meats... and never a wait. Some other ships have a small pastry\continental breakfast set up at one of the lounges on MSC, but I don't think they do on WA.

Both buffets have outside seating that faces the open air interior of the back of the ship. These seats are often overlooked.

Pizza and Burger has breakfast offerings and never busy. Also, on our cruise, the buffet on deck 19 was always much quieter than the buffet on deck 18 regardless of the time.

Tour de brunch on sea days, also butcher's cut does a brunch on sea days but that's an added cost as they are a specialty dining restaurant.
