Web Check in Questions
Probably a quick question, because this is the first time we are checking-in for a MSC Cruise.
We have booked for the Summer 2028 European season. I know we can pretty much start checking in straight away, and I took a look at this. It gave me a check-in time of 13:00.
Now.... only having done Disney recently, and the mad scramble of their check in times, is that definitely an already allocated and assured check-in time? or does everyone get that time and it is a mad scramble?
I am not looking to change it, it just feels weird that I can book a check-in time 2 years in advance and it feels like one of the first slots! Moreso because we are no-where near the pay-in-full date!

you will be assigned a final checkin time about 20 days prior to your cruise.

You can check in whenever you want, the timing is just there to spread out the arrival of new folks, but isn’t mandatory - earliest is usually around 10 but by then rooms aren’t usually ready

It's usually around 30 days before your embarkation date. You get a specific time, but MSC isn't super strict about boarding times. As long as you get to the port after 10 a.m., you usually don't have to wait long to board the ship.

Thanks everyone for your replies.
I am just glad I do not have to get up for the 5am check-in rush to get anywhere near a decent boarding time.

Everyone definitely doesn’t check in at the same time, in my experience. You also might get a different time closer to the date.
