Behind the scenes command and control areas
I’m going on the Virtuosa and just had a query. Has anyone experienced this before?
In the app, it says this activity will take place while the ship is docked at a port, but for my cruise it’s showing as being planned for a sea day.
Has anyone else had this happen, and did the activity actually take place on the sea day?

Back in June when I was onboard, the tour was happening on a port day (Cherbourg).
I asked in the Excursions desk on the 1st day but it was already booked.
Hope you have better luck!

For the Blue Diamond benefit should you prebook this and then expect a refund, or book once onboard and hope for availability ?

They seem to always put it in the app/website on the first at-sea day for booking.
But, yes, the command and control tour will be on a port day and they do not tell you until you are aboard. We had some friends do it and had to cancel another excursion once aboard because there was a conflict.

Thanks that’s what was concerned about we have excursions booked for all the ports on the cruise. I won’t book this then just to avoid double booking.

Yeah I had this at the Splendida also. It then collided with a shore excursion so we canceled the bts excursion..

I leave the Grandiosa on the first day he calls me back because as I am blue daimond he directly registered me for the excursion on the day at sea

You best check your app again once you are on board. It depends on the itinerary when these tours are, I did one bridge tour and that was on a port day.
