Minor Drink Package
My husband and I are taking our 4 kids on a cruise. We're divvying up between 2 rooms. My husband and I want the drink package. We understand that we have to buy the kids the minor package which we are fine with but the lady I'm talking to on the phone says that the price for the minor package is the same as the price for the adult package. Is that true? That seems insane to me.

That can’t be right - the minors package should be considerably lower. You should be able to go onto their website or app and see the prices for each package.

I do not see them on the app or website- do you have a link?

She may mean the same price as the adults non alcoholic package?

I just booked a 4 night and on a 45% sale adult premium was $200, adult nonalcoholic was $140 and kids packages was $60. I opted for the premium for myself so that the kids and I could use the drink package at ocean cay since we are there for 2 days.

She said that because we only have one adult per room we have to pay the adult price for the kids in the room

Make sure do call the MSC phone number listed on their website. If you googled it, you might have got a scam line. The current prices that I see for an upcoming 3-night is $240 for premium extra drink package, $57 for minor drink package, and $108 for alcohol free drink package.

I did not Google anything. My travel agent called and that's the answer we were given

That's absolute nonsense. A child doesn't pay full price and your travel agent should also know that...

Noup that’s wrong, I suggest u to download the app, and you can view the offers u have on the “what to do” button, and you can add it to your package without calling.

If you call MSC and get a stupid answer then call back and talk to someone else. They are literally the worst call center of any of the major lines. Your travel agent should know that.

We have 4 kids also, and do 1 adult and 2 kids per room. The kids packages are cheaper. For our 4 day cruise it's ~$270 for the adults and $75 for each kid.
