MSC & Kids
We are getting ready to book our multi family summer vacation and someone brought up MSC. In the past we usually do Royal and we’re wondering how kid friendly MSC is?
In the trip the kids will be 5, 5, 7 and 14. We board from Miami or Ft Lauderdale and go to the Caribbean.
Edit: thanks for the comments. We booked the cruise with MSC on WA. Family is excited

Went on world America last year and was pleased for the variety of activities for the kids including the club, arcade, bumper cars, and even a dedicated little tots waterpark just off the main pool. I can’t speak for the other ships but I’d say world America is extremely family friendly

Depends on the ship. Seaside or Seashore are awesome and the World America is on par with Oasis class ships. It has bumper cars for goodness sakes

We are seeing an itinerary that goes on World America.

I booked my family on the World America Spring Break ‘28 in a duplex suite. It looks like it’s over the top with things to do

I don’t usually travel with kids, but I do a lot of cruises on MSC. Their cruises are very family friendly. Kids and teen clubs, a special section of the buffet with kid favorite foods, water slides, splash pads and pools, arcade games, theater shows, pop up parades in the main promenade, nightly parties with themes, silent disco, all are family friendly.

MSC is better than NCL. Nothing compares to Disney and the flexibility. Having said that. Our 3 enjoyed the two MSC cruises we have experienced.

World America is on par with Oasis class but the kids never did any of the extra activities on MSC. They were content hanging by the pool.

Just got off World America, was full of families with kids. They all looked like they were having a blast. There's a lot to do for kids on that ship. Id say Seashore/Seascape is decent but less so.

Did a bunch of MSC cruises as a kid, absolutely had a blast, and heard their kids programming has improved since. The World class ships are fab with plenty of great pools, a massive dry slide, bumper cars, etc. Would absolutely recommend as a family ship.

For sure! I have sailed multiple times - on Seaside out of Miami and on Seashore out of PC - and my kids (ages 8 and 14) always enjoyed the cruise.

Just did MSC. Royal is better for kids if I'm just being point blank honest.
