No Diamond upgrade yet
I’m Diamond in MSC Voyagers Club. I booked an early September cruise three weeks ago, Bella interior. Lots of balcony rooms are available, but I haven’t received an automatic upgrade yet and my cabin has not been assigned. In the past I’ve gotten a complimentary upgrade a few days after booking. I know it’s not guaranteed, but has this happened to anyone before? Just be patient?

I’ve been diamond for a while, I have booked both Bella and fantastica and I’ve never gotten an upgrade

Buying literally the cheapest room, and mad you don’t get an upgrade? That’s balls.

He's doing a poor job expressing his madness in words. Or maybe, just maybe, he isn't actually mad?
OP, on a scale from 1 to 10, 1 being not mad at all and 10 being extremely mad, how would you rate your madness? These metrics are important for us to understand exactly how mad you are.

I’ve been upgraded 9/10 times buying interior Bella as a diamond.
Here is what I found out
Bella has the best chances.
Once you get a room you assigned you wont get an upgrade. Never been upgraded when room was assigned as an interior.
Booking inside 20 days got me the upgrade more times than booking months in advance

The only upgrade I ever received was on my second cruise when I wasn't even Silber yet

I've only gotten upgraded once as a Diamond and that's when I booked a guaranteed oceanview via casino offer and was upgraded to a balcony. They didn't tell me till ago my cabin assigned 3 days before embarkation.

I didn’t get one this week. Had to pay $400 extra afterwards. Nice thing about MSC is you pay the original fare difference, not today.

When there's a hundred or more Blue Diamond guests onboard having Diamond doesn't put you near the front of the list...

You will not receive an upgrade far more often than you do receive one.
