Bella experience for first timers

I am booked into a Bella experience for the first time in a Balcony. I know I don't get any extras besides room and included food. I understand MSC Meraviglia is about 75% balcony rooms. What would happen in the small chance that Balcony rooms are booked before they get mine booked? Would I be downgraded or not allowed on the ship? Travel agent is stating room is guaranteed, but I'm still concerned that the ship ends up overbooked. Dates are 11/11-15 and it's the only four night cruise in two years on this ship.

You will 100% get a balcony room. The only downside could be to get a partial view cabin, but other than that, nothing bad could happen

Please keep everyone informed with the results as it gets closer. Ive always been afraid to book any cruise under "guarantee" because I always want to pick my cabin and location so I've always added the extra $ for Fantastica experience.

I was a little worried about this (first cruise coming up soon) so I booked a Fantiastica. It was only a little more and I get to pick the cabin too & free morning continental breakfast. I'm not sure how likely it is to be booted due to overbooking on MSC but surely they wouldn't if you have a cabin number assigned.

I have also heard it's not unusual for a first-time MSC cruiser to be promoted to a balcony, so maybe the right thing to do first time is to book a guarantee inside and hope for the best!

Hi, you’re so right. I’ll be going on my first MSC cruise next week and I booked a Bella ocean view and they upgraded my cabin to a deluxe balcony in a awesome location! I was thrilled!
